On May 27, the intelligent rolling line management and control platform (Phase I) of MCC Huatian was launched in the 8# fine bar production line of ZENITH green quality steel project, which was another achievement in MCC Huatian's intelligent business and contributed to the unique brand image building of ZENITH. This launch marks the substantial progress of the "181 Plan" project, demonstrates the technical strength of MCC Huatian in the intelligent steel field, and manifests the Company’s responsibility in the first echelon of the national team of metallurgical construction.

The intelligent rolling line management and control platform represents an engineering demonstration application of intelligent manufacturing of typical hot-rolled bars supported by MCC Huatian - Northeastern University Long Products Intelligent Manufacturing Joint Innovation Center under the background that the Intelligent Development Department led the research and development of Key Technologies of Intelligent Workshop for Hot-Rolled Bars under MCC’s "181 Plan" in combination with the steel rolling project under the ZENITH green quality steel EPC project undertaken by the Company. The project covers the material tracking and matching of hot-rolled bar production and the precise control of production process. By comprehensively using metallurgical model of materials, finite difference algorithm and other technologies, the project develops intelligent technologies such as intelligent combustion of reheating furnace, controlled rolling and cooling of main rolling line, digital material tracking, intelligent management of roll shop, so as to comprehensively improve the digital and intelligent level of steel rolling.

This project is a key demonstration project highlighting the latest technological development in the construction of MCC Huatian in the first echelon. The successful launch of the intelligent rolling line management and control platform (level 2) in the 8# fine bar production line of ZENITH green quality steel project is an important embodiment of the implementation of MCC's strategic positioning requirements of both the "national team of metallurgical construction" and the "Fourth Five-year" plan.
